My mom moved into an assisted living facility in November of 2020. The staff at the location were kind, gentle, and amazingly understanding, but Christian, specifically, was so wonderful to me. Circle of Trust Senior Resources, LLC is honored to welcome the AMAZING Tracie Doerler to our team! Tracie is the Area Senior Living Advisor serving the Northern Virginia area. All of our team members have our "why", and after assisting a close loved one with Dementia, Tracie knew that she wanted to assist others with navigating through similar situations by identifying the best resources and trusted recommendations for care.

After taking time out of the workforce to raise her children, Tracie is delighted to have an opportunity that provides personal fulfillment, while applying her experience and education to help others along their journeys. Tracie has her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling, which has uniquely equipped her to assist those with challenging circumstances. She can empathize with other adult children and family members as they move through each step of senior living and senior care.

We are blessed to have Tracie on our team, and are excited about helping to make the world a better place......one loved one and family member at a time. Welcome, Tracie!! Tracie Ingram Doerler

I am very particular about who cares for “my loves”, and I trust my Circle ⭕️ wholeheartedly. All care providers are NOT within the Circle of Trust. Although I feasibly can’t care for every single person in the world, my chosen few can join me on my journey…and together, we can care for every single person in the whole wide world! I started to post this photo a few times this weekend, but each time, I became overwhelmed with emotion. One of our amazing partners, Tribute at The Glen, has this beautiful memorial in their lobby. I went to visit, and this symbolization literally stopped me in my tracks. Truly…..all gave some, but some gave all. This is such a thoughtful gesture to honor our Fallen Soldiers. We are grateful, thankful and blessed. You are ALWAYS in our hearts. Thank you. ❤️

Many of us are navigating through similar things......dealing with one competing priority after another. The reality is......everything is a priority.....especially when it comes to caring for those we love. 💜 How do we do it and do it well? By focusing on the next best step. I have found that giving myself and others one teaspoon of expectations....and 3 teaspoons of grace has made all the difference. This is my new recipe for 2022. What's yours? I am a "naturally nostalgic" person, but around the holidays (especially), I tend to reflect on the past more than ever. I miss Daddy. I miss the "way things used to be". I miss the simplicity of pre-adulthood. The past year and a half has been taxing for all of us. Many of us have endured loss, illness, lack, uncertainty......and much, much more. We have spoken and unspoken feelings. I encourage us all to "feel what we feel" and give ourselves grace to "feel what we feel" without judgment, shame and regret. We all deal with stress, anxiety and depression in our own way. Comparing the way we feel to the way others feel....or how they "say" we should feel, ruins a perfectly good day. Holidays can magnify these feelings...and the article below gives us pointers on how to compartmentalize these feelings and how to not move past them.....but move through them.
