What is the Problem?

Over 93 million children with disabilities in the world are denied access to schools.

What are we doing about it?

Education is a universal human right. A combination of discrimination, lack of training in inclusive teaching methods among teachers, and a lack of accessible schools leave this group uniquely vulnerable to being denied their right to education.

We fund and host training for professional development in educators. We fund architect projects to make schools more inclusive. We provide inclusive activities for disabled persons.

What is the problem?

As many as 151 million children under the age of 5 are estimated to have been prevented from growing or developing properly.

Malnourishment can affect a child’s cognitive abilities and brain development which results in a lack of focus and concentration in the classroom. Malnourished children are less likely to be able to even read by the age of eight. We host community meals, food drives, run mobile food security programs, and provide health conscious education, screenings and activities.

What is the problem?

Outdated and worn-out textbooks are often shared by six or more students in many parts of the world.

What are we doing about it?

We purchase text books and provide them to underprivileged school districts at no cost, we fund text book access programs, we provide textbooks to our students, we have a textbook exchange program for higher learning students.

Not only do we prepare students for entry level careers in nursing, but we also have services for them to keep growing in their career and we are useful to any nurse in any level.

Ready to start a business, but don’t know where to start? CPR Instructing is an easy to start, low start up cost business.

First Aid/ AED/ CPR Instructor courses are given by the American Red Cross. This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course.

Classes can be found at https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/cpr/performing-cpr/cpr-steps

In Metro Atlanta, the classes are two-days and run about $300-$350.

After you take the class, you will be observed by your instructor teaching your own class!

Should all be satisfactory, you will be able to certify others in first aid/AED/CPR.
