It’s officially laser season! The best time for resurfacing treatments. With shorter days and less sun exposure, recovery is easier and safer, since direct sunlight should be avoided for a brief period after treatment.

Lumenis ActiveFX is an ablative fractional CO₂ laser performed right in the office under local anesthesia and numbing cream, with optional light sedation. Downtime is about a week, and discomfort is minimal.

This laser removes thin layers of skin to stimulate new collagen and reveal smoother, healthier skin. The ablative process creates tiny, precise micro-injuries that the body heals naturally, while the fractional approach leaves surrounding skin intact for faster recovery.

It’s one of my favorite treatments for fine lines, sun damage, and uneven texture with powerful results and long-term skin renewal.

No weight loss here. This 32-year-old patient is three months after buccal fat reduction, neck liposuction, and masseter reduction with Dysport.

This was a simple in-office procedure; awake, local anesthesia, and just about a week of downtime.

Facial sculpting is all about contour, peaks, and valleys, creating favorable shadows with intention. Although nothing was done directly to the cheekbones or jawline, notice the definition and balance that emerge when the underlying structure is refined.

Can you take two hours out of your day and work from home for a week? The results speak for themselves.

Behind the scenes of a revision rhinoplasty case in my practice.

This 44-year-old patient came to me after a previous rhinoplasty left his nose feeling “too small.” He had also experienced a baseball injury that caused deviation of the nasal structure.

Through careful evaluation and surgical refinement, I was able to restore balance, correct the deviation, and create a result that feels natural and proportionate to his face.

Revision procedures are among the most complex in facial plastic surgery. Each step must respect the patient’s history and anatomy; ensuring not just improvement, but lasting harmony.
