Midlife weight loss is not a “just try harder” conversation — and if anyone has ever made you feel that way, please release that guilt right now.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your body is changing.
Your metabolism is shifting.
Your environment (hello, sugar in everything) is working against you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And none of that means you’re failing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this season of life, weight loss becomes less about willpower and way more about understanding your physiology.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Curious where to start? Call or text us at STAT Wellness — let’s get you feeling strong, energized, and metabolically supported again.

Menopause isn’t the beginning of the end — it’s the beginning of a new chapter in your health.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Perimenopause + menopause can feel confusing, emotional, and honestly… like your body is doing things you’ve never experienced before. But here’s the truth no one tells you:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You’re not “fading.” You’re evolving — and you can feel strong, clear, energized, and yourself again with the right support.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You deserve to feel informed, empowered, and supported in this transition. And you don’t have to navigate this season alone.

Whenever I see patients feeling frustrated or discouraged, I remind them: your body isn’t working against you-it’s working hard to get your attention.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes that means slowing down.
Sometimes it means nourishing differently.
Sometimes it means letting go of old habits that no longer serve you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just like a home needs upkeep and care, so does your body. And with the right support, it can feel like a place you actually want to live in again.

Your real age isn’t the one on your driver’s license — it’s your fitness age, and VO₂ Max is one of the strongest predictors of how long (and how well) you’ll live.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most people have no idea where they stand… but once you test it, you can actually improve it with targeted training.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Think:
-Better cardiovascular health
-Better metabolic outcomes
-Lower all-cause mortality risk
-Personalized heart-rate zones for smarter workouts

Ready to know your number? Call or text 404-254-5905 to schedule your VO₂ Max test at any STAT location.

Babymoon bliss

Filled with slow mornings, locally grown food, sunrises + sunsets, and the best functional gym (hello )

With our girls being born in the middle of the pandemic, this was our first (and last) true baby moon AND we accomplished exactly what we were hoping for- rest, relaxation, and quality time together ( ❤️) before we become a family of 5.

As many of us are, we have been in a season of growth personally and professionally - this little slice of paradise gave us so much space to be. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, we highly suggest

Cravings aren’t random — they’re your body’s way of asking for support. Instead of fighting them, start listening.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s what your cravings might be trying to say:
🍫 Chocolate → You may be low in magnesium (especially around your cycle).
🧂 Salty foods → Your adrenals or electrolytes could use a reset.
🍪 Sweets → You might need serotonin, B vitamins, or chromium.
🧀 Cheese → Your body could be craving calcium or balanced fats.
🥩 Red meat → You may need more iron, zinc, or B12.
🥨 Crunchy snacks → Often tied to stress or emotional release.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your body isn’t broken — it’s communicating. The key is learning how to listen.

Happy Thanksgiving! There’s so much to be grateful for—today and every day.

During our annual Thanksgiving 10K this morning, I found myself reflecting on what a gift it truly is to move. To GET to run. To breathe deeply. To feel strong. Health really is our greatest form of wealth, and I never want to take that for granted.

I’m endlessly thankful for my family, my incredible team at , the patients who trust us with their care, and the opportunity to serve in a way that feels deeply meaningful. And to feel good at 30 weeks pregnant- my heart is extra full. We can’t wait to meet this sweet little guy soon.

Sending you so much love, gratitude, and warmth this holiday season. 🍁✨
