Congrats Krista! During the conversation with a patient, Krista noted that the patient’s speech was incoherent. When asked, the patient stated she was fine; however, Krista trusted her clinical judgment and advised the patient to seek immediate evaluation at the nearest emergency room. Following the call, she contacted the patient’s spouse to provide an update and clearly communicate the urgency of the situation. Through Krista’s guidance and persistence, the patient was transported to the nearest emergency room, where she received care. Krista’s actions exemplify the standard of excellence we strive to uphold at Piedmont Cancer Institute—for our patients and for one another.”

Tiffany goes above and beyond in everything she does. Her compassion is evident in her dedication to our patients, their families, and her colleagues. She consistently looks for ways to improve the patient experience and support their individual needs. She greets all patients, family members, and staff with kindness and professionalism. Not long ago, in our Stockbridge office, a family member became visibly upset. Tiffany remained calm, compassionate, and respectful while actively problem-solving the situation. This interaction clearly demonstrated her ability to handle challenging situations with grace and empathy.
