I'm a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and I specialize in health optimization. Most people don't go to the doctor until something goes wrong but what about going to the doctor to keep things right! I work with real people just like you who are just trying to be the healthiest they can be, age gracefully, prevent and in some cases even reverse chronic disease. My role as your doctor is to help you learn more about your body and how it may or may not be working for you. Im not just your regular doctor and I don't practice your regular medicine. I practice a personalized form of medicine called Functional Medicine. I combine the best knowledge of conventional medicine with the most current knowledge in lifestyle medicine (i.e. nutrition, fitness, stress management etc) while applying it to your bodies specific and individual needs. In med school, they told us those chemicals were “harmless.” But functional medicine taught me the truth—it’s not just one product.

It’s the build-up. The lotions, perfumes, foundations, haircare, deodorants… all of it adds up.

Once I learned that, I started paying real close attention to what I was using. I had my DIY phase—avocado masks, coconut oil, the whole thing.

And truthfully? I still go natural when I can.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard women say, “I get by on 4 hours of sleep.”
