Arthritis Foundation Massachusetts

Arthritis Foundation Massachusetts We're committed to leading the fight against arthritis by helping the arthritis community conquer everyday battles while forging the path to a cure!

The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) leads the way in helping people with arthritis live better today and create better tomorrows through new treatments, better access and, ultimately, cures. We do this by:

• Funding life-changing research that has restored mobility in patients for more than six decades
• Fighting for health care policies that improve the lives of the millions of American

s with arthritis
• Partnering with families to provide empowering programs and information

As the nation’s largest private funder of research, public health programs and advocacy on behalf of the 50 million Americans with this painful disease, the Arthritis Foundation aims to reduce the number of people suffering from arthritis-related physical activity limitations by 20 percent by 2030.

Living with arthritis isn’t just physical — it’s emotional, too. 💚

In the latest episode of the Arthritis Foundation’s Live Yes! With Arthritis podcast, “Grief, Guilt & Finding Grace,” we explore the feelings that often go unspoken — like grieving the life you imagined or feeling guilty about how arthritis impacts the people you love.

This powerful conversation with a chronic pain therapist shares real, compassionate strategies for navigating those emotions, setting boundaries and finding a new sense of self along the way.

Celebrating 25 years of the Walk to Cure Arthritis has given us an opportunity to celebrater the legacy of our former honorees, including Prue! Prue was honored at the 2020 Walk, but it was the year without a Walk. We are thrilled to be able to spotlight Prue, who is now a junior at Nashoba Valley Tech High School and taking college courses. Prue is dancing competitively and has recently gotten into sports photography. Prue also attends .dh and is looking forward to returning to camp as a Senior.

So grateful to have Prue as part of the arthritis community! Join Prue and her team "All Flared Up!" at the Boston Walk on Sunday, June 7 at Herter Park, Boston.
