New Clinical Resource Series Publication 📚

We’ve just added a new article to the CRH Anesthesia Clinical Resource Series: “Insulin Management in the Perioperative Period for Patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus” by Matthew Newton, DNP, CRNA.

This is a practical refresher on perioperative insulin management for T1DM, highlighting why basal insulin should be continued even when patients are NPO, how to approach bolus insulin, and the importance of frequent glucose monitoring and clear team communication to reduce delays, complications, and care variability.

Exciting news: CRH Anesthesia is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Carolina Digestive Health Associates and a majority stake in Greater Charlotte Sedation Associates, LLC (“GCSA”), a provider of gastrointestinal (GI) related anesthesia services in the Charlotte metro market.

This partnership supports care delivery across four ambulatory surgical centers and establishes a new collaboration with 15 GI physicians, bringing CRH’s North Carolina network to 18 locations statewide.
