Atlanta, 2022 – Lend A Helping Hand, a company highly recommended, offering Independent Patient Advocacy, is proud to announce the official start of its services in Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas AND virtually nationwide. Atlanta is home to LHHH, providing in-person and virtual services to individuals with healthcare needs as well as the aging population and their adult caregivers, no matter where they live. Many families do not live nearby one another and benefit greatly from such services.

Since launching in May 2021, owner of LHHH, Melanie M. Parks, MSN,
RN, CHPN, BCPA, continues with enthusiasm to assist clients (patients/family) with healthcare management, chart review, research and exploration, client/elder care services, long-term placement, advanced care planning & end-of-life planning.
Originally from Massachusetts, Melanie is a private professional healthcare advocate with a background in nursing, hospice & palliative care, inpatient case management, transitional care management, and health insurance plans. She earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
With 10 years of experience, Melanie maneuvers the healthcare system efficiently, with confidence and enjoys addressing the specific needs and concerns of the aging population and their adult caregivers as well as other client needs. Through her knowledge, passion, and dedication, she is there to help navigate the healthcare frenzy.
Patient Advocates do not make decisions for their clients, rather they make them aware of their options. They cultivate a better understanding of the healthcare system by giving their clients background knowledge. They offer the type of support that helps patients get their questions answered and their problems addressed. Ultimately, patient advocates strive to handle health care’s logistical issues, so patients and their families can focus on health and healing.
