This is Nadi Shodhana, Alternate Nostril Breathing, and it’s a really good breathwork technique to have in your back pocket. Research shows it can lower heart rate, reduce blood pressure, and calm the nervous system relatively quickly. The best part? You need absolutely nothing but your hand and a few minutes.

Does your morning routine actually set you up for wellness or do you just hit the ground running?

This one is simple, accessible, and genuinely good for your body. Warm lemon or lime water before anything else, even coffee, is one of the first rituals I ever added to my morning, and years later it’s still a non-negotiable for me.

Here’s why it works: Your body has been working all night. You wake up mildly dehydrated. This gently rehydrates you, signals your digestive and lymphatic systems to wake up, and even though citrus is acidic, it actually has an alkalizing effect once it metabolizes. So it’s quietly doing a lot.

I like to use key limes. But lemon and regular limes work beautifully too. Use what you love and what you’ll actually do consistently. 🍋🍋‍🟩💧

Color therapy or chromotherapy has been around since ancient times. Healers used color and light to calm the body and restore balance and now modern research is starting to confirm what they knew intuitively.

Brazil nuts hit different but not in the way most people think. They are a powerful food. They’re packed with healthy fats, fiber, protein, and magnesium like most nuts. But the reason you’ve heard to stop at 2? Selenium.

One Brazil nut already exceeds your entire daily recommended dose. Two keeps you safe. But a handful puts you at risk of selenosis which can cause 🚨 Hair loss, brittle nails, fatigue, nausea, metallic taste, nerve issues. These are all signs you went too far.

And because selenium content varies nut to nut based on growing conditions, the 2-nut limit is a safe rule. And if you want something actually snackable, reach for walnuts, almonds, cashews, or pistachios instead.
