This is Nadi Shodhana, Alternate Nostril Breathing, and it’s a really good breathwork technique to have in your back pocket. Research shows it can lower heart rate, reduce blood pressure, and calm the nervous system relatively quickly. The best part? You need absolutely nothing but your hand and a few minutes.
Watch through for the full technique, it looks a little funny at first but once you get into the flow and feel what it does to your body, you’ll get it.
