Yesterday, our cottage ladies had a wonderful day visiting Scottsdale Farms Garden Center for some delightful shopping and relaxing at their cozy cafe. The celery root bisque was absolutely delicious, the chicken pot pie was just perfect, and their avocado toast looked like a work of art—so pretty and tasty! We're really loving these cottage outings and creating such lovely memories together.

As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s exciting to see the holiday spirit begin to shine! A big thank you to Piedmont Hospice & Palliative Care, Trinity Hospice Care of Georgia, and AccentCare for kickstarting our Festival of the Trees with such enthusiasm. We’re really looking forward to celebrating together at our wonderful Christmas party on December 6th, from 11:00 to 2:00. We can’t wait to share the joy and cheer with everyone!

We were honored to host the Stand Up For Seniors also VAC monthly luncheon last week, where our chef prepared a truly delicious meal that everyone enjoyed.

Yesterday, we warmly welcomed over 200 family members, friends, and residents to share a delightful Thanksgiving lunch with us. The atmosphere was lively and full of joy! A big thank you goes to Missy and her wonderful team from Piedmont Hospice & Palliative Care for making sure everyone stayed refreshed, including serving a tasty Thanksgiving punch! We were also delighted to celebrate three families' birthdays. Our entire team truly enjoyed celebrating and creating special memories with all our guests!

Wednesday was “Wear in the World Wednesday,” and our staff rose to the occasion, celebrating the richness of our diverse heritages. Several residents eagerly joined in, sparking lively and fun conversations everywhere. We celebrated National Happy Hour Day with refreshing mocktails, adding a festive touch to the day. The evening ended on a high note as we made new friends—the youth group from Rising Hills Church visited us, sharing favorite games and learning a few new ones together. We’re already looking forward to what adventures lie ahead with this wonderful church group!
