Today is National Candy Corn Day, and whether you love it or hate it, everyone had a blast dressed in the iconic colors! Our fun-filled day took us on an exciting outing to the Cherokee County History Museum. It was especially meaningful for one of our residents, who was raised right here in Cherokee County. Seeing how the county has transformed from the 1830s to today was truly fascinating. The day wrapped up with a tasty meal at The Salty Mule, where we were treated to a magic trick and more captivating history!

We're having a great Spirit Week this week, and yesterday we marked National Black Cat Day. Jenny from Piedmont Hospice & Palliative Care joined us and brought smiles as she helped our memory care residents discover their playful and curious cat sides! Some of our staff also dressed up to join in the fun! In assisted living, everyone enjoyed a delightful craft activity that reminded us ghosts can be friendly, too!

Today is National Chocolate Day, and we had such a wonderful time celebrating! We dressed in all shades of brown and enjoyed a sweet social, sharing our favorite candy bars and indulging in them. It was fun to learn that chocolate is technically a vegetable and that eating dark chocolate can be good for our brains! Since it's Halloween week, we're all ready for more chocolate adventures. We also shared laughs playing Jeopardy in the clubhouse with our cottage residents and wrapped up the evening with a lively game of Bingo. It was a day full of fun, friendship, and sweet surprises!

This week was filled with exciting lunch adventures! On Wednesday, our memory care residents had a fantastic time at Chili’s, enjoying delicious food and great company. Thursday brought joy to our assisted living residents as they enjoyed a hearty meal at Family Traditions — they ate to their heart’s content! Today, our cottage residents indulged in mouthwatering BBQ at Bigun’s, followed by a fun shopping spree at Panorama Apple Barn. It was truly a lively and joyful week across all three neighborhoods. We love creating these memorable moments!
