Houston Methodist 🤝 BRIJ Medical — now available.

Brijjit force-modulating tissue bridges are designed for final skin closure to actively offload tension up to 100% for better healing outcomes.

As Dr. Kenneth Brooks at Houston Methodist says:
“The BRIJJIT wound closure system has significantly improved the quality of my patients’ wound healing, while also giving me peace of mind knowing that my surgical incisions are well protected from abrasive damage by clothing or other material.”

Why teams are trying Brijjit for final closure:

• Non-invasive + hypoallergenic
• Actively offloads up to 100% of incisional tension
• Proven: 90% fewer open wounds*
• Proven: 38% scar reduction*

Now that Brijjit is approved for use within the Houston Methodist system, we’d love to support a case or join an OR evaluation.

Catch us on-site:

Evidence > opinions.

A UT Southwestern randomized controlled trial showed:

91% ↓ wound breakdown
38% ↓ scar area

When surgeons used Brijjit for final closure vs sutures alone.

This is what better wound healing looks like.

AAOS did not disappoint this year.

From a packed exhibit hall to incredible conversations with surgeons pushing the field forward, this show continues to be one of the most energizing weeks in orthopedics.

A few highlights from the week:

• Connecting with surgeons from across the country about the future of wound closure and healing
• A steady stream of visitors at the booth and some great early feedback on what we’re building
• Seeing the orthopedic community come together in one place to share ideas and push innovation forward
• And of course, an unforgettable keynote from that had the whole room fired up

Huge shoutout to the BRIJ team for bringing the energy all week long and to everyone who stopped by to talk, ask questions, and learn more about what we’re doing.

Next stop: more conversations, more collaboration, and more momentum for better wound healing.

Thanks for making AAOS another great one.
