Faith Medical Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support an adult with complex medical needs in a stable, one‑on‑one home setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident, patient, and skilled in providing high‑quality care in a family‑centered environment.
💛 About the Case (HIPAA‑safe summary)

The individual requires consistent skilled nursing support, including:
• G‑tube feedings and scheduled water flushes
• Seizure monitoring and safety precautions
• Respiratory support, including nebulizer treatments and ensuring rescue inhaler availability
• CPT vest therapy as ordered
• Medication administration per provider orders
• Skin integrity monitoring, repositioning, and personal care
• ROM assistance and mobility support
• Engagement in daily activities with gentle prompting and support
The care plan focuses on maintaining comfort, safety, and quality of life within the home.

Social media has been buzzing recently about autism. As representation becomes more prevalent, people are starting to see that autism is more that just stimming or having issues with social skills. There are individuals who cannot walk, talk and even have aggressive behaviors.

Recently, we have seen people who are commenting on the lives of people that they do not understand. As a provider who supports many individuals with various intellectual disabilities, we think it our duty to provide education on the matter.

Autism is a spectrum.

Symptoms can vary vastly between individuals, and families. Everyone has their unique experience. Some people with autism live fully independent lives with minimal support, while other require extensive daily care.

Imagine being trapped inside your own mind—unable to communicate your needs, overwhelmed by sensory input, or driven by impulses you can’t control. Most people can’t imagine that reality because it isn’t their battle. But that doesn’t make it any less real for the individuals and families living it every day.

Before offering harmful or judgmental advice, it’s important to understand how the spectrum works. One day, any of us could become a parent, relative, or caregiver to someone with similar challenges.

Thankfully, there are programs that can support families by sending trained professionals to help relieve some of the pressure, provide guidance, and give family caregivers the chance to breathe, practice self‑care, and regroup.
