We’ll provide valuable tools and perspectives to empower you to create a joyful, magical pregnancy and birth experience. Working with men and women, we’ll go beyond the birthing methods taught elsewhere, with lots of hands-on tools, tips and techniques. And we’ll explore the joys, stresses, expectations & fears of this truly special time in your life. Creative Childbirth & Beyond is geared to the group. Each week we’ll have joint & separate sessions for men & women. We’ll explore:

● the joys & fears of Moms...and Dads
● communication issues between spouses, creating parents as partners….calm & confident
● health, diet & exercise - during & after pregnancy
● fear & expectations during pregnancy, birth & beyond
● thought-provoking role plays & a “labor rehearsal”
● exploring options & creating your birth experience
● deep breathing & relaxation, alternative positions for sleeping, labor & delivery, including proper body support
● what to do after the baby arrives, including tips & options regarding breast feeding, diapering, dressing & bathing
● introduction to infant massage, bonding & proprioception
● engaging your baby in play, and enhancing your child’s meaningful interactions
● special-interest topics and concerns, discussed confidentially within the group
● lending library of books & DVDs on pregnancy, birthing & parenting available at no additional cost...and more!.
