At Dunwoody Place, the halls were filled with laughter as a mother and daughter duo stole the show, dressed as Goldilocks and Little Red Riding Hood! Their matching smiles and playful spirit brought a touch of fairy-tale magic to the day, delighting residents and staff alike. It was heartwarming to see generations come together, sharing in the fun and joy of dressing up—proving that a little imagination (and a great costume) can make any day extra special at Dunwoody Place!

Halloween at Dunwoody Place was a spooktacular sight to see! Our staff went all out with creative costumes that brought laughter and smiles all around the community. Chef turned heads as the mighty King Tut, the witch of eve from our Business Office Manager. Our Regional made everyone giggle as a cheerful Minnie Mouse, and the Director of Wellness brought a playful twist as the “nice” devil. And to top it all off, our Executive Director stole the show as none other than Little Red Riding Hood! It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and festive spirit—proving that Dunwoody Place knows how to celebrate in style!

Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Director, Latoiya Perry, to Dunwoody Place! Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Latoiya brings a wealth of experience as a licensed ALC Administrator, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and licensed real estate agent with many years in Senior Living and Property Management. Her leadership, compassion, and dedication to excellence make her a wonderful addition to our community. In her free time, Latoiya enjoys cooking shows, British crime dramas, and exploring her passion for real estate. Residents at DunWoody Place Assisted Living had a wonderful time serving as judges for the annual pumpkin decorating contest featuring creative entries from the DunWoody staff. Laughter and excitement filled the room as residents admired each unique design and cast their votes for their favorite. The senior citizens who are part of the Flower Club at DunWoody Place spent the morning carefully arranging beautiful fresh flowers to brighten up the dining room tables. With gentle hands and creative hearts, they selected colorful blooms and greenery to create cheerful centerpieces for their fellow residents to enjoy.
