A Veteran shared his appreciation for Ms. Jessie Siby, a radiation oncology nurse, who supported him throughout his treatment at the Atlanta VA.

“Consistently made me feel welcomed, relaxed and informed during 28 days of radiation therapy. Worked well with the team and quickly helped reduce my anxiety and provided advice," shared the Veteran.

In recognition of her outstanding service, Ms. Siby was named the December 2025 DAISY Nurse Excellence Award recipient.

February 18, 2026 : Registration opens 10 a.m. ET for the Visually Impaired and Wheelchair Divisions.

February 19, 2026: Registration opens 2 p.m. ET for all other eligible participants.

Swing Into Valentine’s Day at Atlanta VA

Looking for a meaningful way to start Valentine’s Day?

As part of National Salute to Veterans Week, the Atlanta Swing Orchestra will perform from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, in the Pete Wheeler Auditorium at the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center.

Join us for a lively hour of classic swing music and community fellowship as we honor Veterans. The event is free and open to those on campus.
