Many people safely have multiple liposuction sessions, especially if they’re targeting different areas or doing touch-ups. If it’s the same area, surgeons usually recommend waiting at least 6–12 months before another round — to let the tissue fully heal and swelling go down. You can have lipo more than once, but it should be spaced out, planned carefully, and done by a board-certified plastic surgeon who knows your history.
