Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brandi Apple, Pharm.D., BCGP, has been part of the Guardian family since 2016, supporting both communities and pharmacy teams across the region.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Brandi brings nearly two decades of pharmacy experience, including leadership roles in long-term care and community pharmacy. Before joining Guardian, she served as Director of Pharmacy Operations for Winyah Pharmacy, where she managed multiple teams, led business planning, and helped shape clinical best practices for senior care communities.

At Guardian, Brandi serves as a trusted clinical resource—partnering with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care for residents.

“I love my job because I serve as a clinical resource for both communities and pharmacy staff, ensuring best practices that prioritize overall patient safety,” she says. “Being part of an interdisciplinary team allows me to focus on the well-being and healthy aging of residents in long-term care.”

Brandi is passionate about advancing age-friendly pharmacy practices and empowering consultant pharmacists to improve outcomes for older adults. Her dedication to quality care and continuous improvement reflects Guardian’s commitment to enhancing the lives of those we serve.

This year, our Guardian Pharmacy Services corporate team united once again to support Restoring One's Hope of Atlanta, Inc. Together, we prepared two hundred cold weather clothing kits that will offer comfort and relief to individuals and families in need.

After the work concluded, our team came together for a Thanksgiving meal that gave us time to reflect on our purpose, strengthen our connection, and appreciate the chance to serve our community in a different but impactful way.
