This men’s process group is a space to slow down, be real, and connect with others navigating stress, relationships, identity, and life transitions.

Led by Matko Mosunjac, LMSW, this group centers honesty, respect, and growth, without pressure to perform or fix anything right away. Just a supportive room to build emotional awareness, healthier coping, and meaningful connection.

If you’ve been carrying things alone, this doesn’t have to be another place you do that.

Interested or have questions? Reach out to matko@keycounselingatl.com

If your partner gave you an ultimatum about therapy, you’re not alone.
And therapy doesn’t have to be “their thing” to still work for you.

In this reel, Matko Mosunjac,LMSW, talks about how therapy can become your space, not a punishment, not a performance, and not something you have to do “right.” Whether you’re showing up unsure, skeptical, or just to keep the peace, therapy can still meet you where you are.

You get to decide what you talk about.
You get to move at your pace.
You get a space that’s actually yours.

Matko works with individuals and couples and specializes in helping clients feel grounded, understood, and respected, especially when therapy feels intimidating or forced at first.

Men’s mental health isn’t about “fixing” anything.
It’s about unlearning messages that say you have to do it all alone, stay silent, or push through at any cost.

These mindset shifts invite a different way of relating to yourself, your emotions, and support:
one rooted in resilience, connection, and nervous system care.

Support isn’t weakness.
Rest isn’t failure.
Awareness is a skill.

If any of these resonate, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Starting EMDR can feel intimidating, but it’s not about reliving everything all at once. EMDR begins with building safety, resourcing, and understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, before any trauma processing happens.

At Key Counseling, we have multiple clinicians trained in EMDR, each moving at your pace and grounding the work in consent, safety, and collaboration.

Healing doesn’t have to be rushed.
And you don’t have to do it alone.

Dissociation is a nervous system response to overwhelm, stress, or past trauma.

It can feel like autopilot.
Foggy.
Detached.
Muted.
Slow.
Invisible.

If this resonates, you’re not broken.
Your body learned how to protect you.

Therapy can help you gently reconnect, at your own pace, with safety and support.

Are you and your partner A.R.E. there for each other?

ARE stands for:
• Accessible – Can I reach you when I need you?
• Responsive – Do you respond to my emotions, not just my words?
• Engaged – Do I feel important and valued by you?

When couples strengthen these three areas, connection deepens, conflict softens, and repair becomes possible.

Explained by Nicole Del Vecchio, AMFT who specializes in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and individuals.

A reminder you might need today.

So many of our younger selves learned to survive by being small, perfect, pleasing, quiet, strong, or invisible. Those strategies made sense then. They kept you safe.

Healing isn’t about erasing who you were.
It’s about offering compassion to the parts of you that did the best they could with what they had.

If this resonates, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to do this work by yourself.
