We’re excited to highlight this week’s GPLA graduate, Dr. Fonda Mitchell (Class IX), who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology.

MAG President Dr. Deborah Martin officially kicked off the Georgia Medical School Tour with the first stop at the Medical College of Georgia. It was impressive to see how actively students are engaged in advocacy at both the state and national levels. Their understanding of policy and commitment to advancing the profession speaks volumes about the future of medicine in Georgia. Another record breaking Physicians’ Day at the Capitol. What an incredible turnout. We are grateful to our members and society partners who stepped up, spoke up, and advocated for their patients and the practice of medicine. Job well done!

A special thank you to the legislators who took time to meet with our physicians and engage in important conversations about protecting health care in Georgia.
