This week, we’re celebrating Dr. Weitzner, an Atlanta native and skilled pediatric gastroenterologist at GI Care for Kids. With training from Washington University, the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, and Emory/CHOA, he brings exceptional expertise to our team. His research on the pediatric microbiome in IBD has been published, and he’s been recognized as an Atlanta Magazine “Top Doctor.”

Dr. Weitzner is passionate about inflammatory bowel disease, feeding disorders, and nutrition—and outside the clinic, he loves exploring the outdoors and spending time with his wife and two children.
