It’s important you know these five things! ⬇️

1️⃣ Feeling alone is incredibly common.
Many people don’t share the full complexity of what they’re feeling; even with close friends, family, or their partner. If this feels isolating, you’re not failing. You’re human.

2️⃣ Negative emotions when you see pregnancy announcements don’t make you a bad person.
Those feelings often come from grief, longing, and unmet expectations; not jealousy or bitterness. Two things can be true at once: you can be happy for others and sad for yourself.

3️⃣ IVF isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all.
While IVF is common, a good fertility clinic will first assess you, your health, your goals, and your timeline, and tailor treatment accordingly. Care should be personal, not cookie‑cutter. (That’s exactly how we approach care at RBA!)

4️⃣ Infertility isn’t just a women’s health issue.
Male factor fertility plays a crucial role and is often under‑discussed. Comprehensive evaluation and support for male partners is essential and it’s not uncommon for male factor infertility to be part of the reason conception has been challenging. (At RBA, we have a male fertility specialist on our physician team!)

5️⃣ Taking breaks is okay.
This is called a journey for a reason. Pausing, resetting, or reassessing doesn’t mean you’re giving up… it means you’re taking care of yourself.
At RBA, we’re here to support you through every step, at your pace. You don’t have to do this alone. 💜🩵

Oh wow. Never thought of that. 😐

If you’ve ever smiled through a comment like this and screamed internally later, you’re not alone.

March is endometriosis awareness month, dedicated to increasing global awareness for the chronic, often debilitating disease affecting 1 in 10 women. Learn more in our most recent blog post.

“Understanding your uterine lining can help you feel more in control and informed during IVF. If you’re preparing for treatment or want to check in on your reproductive health, our team is here to support you.”

Let’s clear up a common misconception: stress alone doesn’t cause infertility.

But the experience of infertility can be deeply stressful and acknowledging that emotional weight is an important part of care.

You deserve support for both your body and your well‑being.

👏 Congratulations to RBA’s very own Melissa Paul, recipient of the Patient Experience Leader Award.

This award honors leaders who shape environments where excellence can consistently thrive and Melissa exemplifies what patient‑centered care looks like every single day.

We’re so grateful for the compassion, leadership, and heart she brings to our patients and our team.

Our Story

RBA was established in 1983 as Georgia’s first IVF treatment center. Our physicians boast more than 172 years of cumulative experience in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and they have achieved in excess of 30,000 IVF births. Our specialized treatment plans combine compassionate patient care with state-of-the-art technology, much of which our physicians pioneered.

Over that past 30+ years, we’ve remained steadfast in our commitment to the development of revolutionary technologies and techniques to enhance pregnancy outcomes. And naturally, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved. But we’re more interested in what we can help you achieve. Because even the most sophisticated medical technology is valueless to you if isn’t right for your needs. We never forget that our job is the same as it was when we met our first patient in 1983: To help create families. And as far as we’re concerned, there’s no greater goal—or achievement—than that.

If you have attempted conception for six to twelve months without success, or experience two or more pregnancy losses, we encourage you to contact the experienced staff at RBA.
