We are very pleased that you are considering selecting All About You to be your counselor and therapist as we are looking forward to assisting you as best as you allow us. Trina received her B.A. in Psychology from Dillard University in New Orleans, LA and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, which was once known as the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. Trina completed a clinical practicum at Northside Hospital's Recovery Center and gained initial counseling experience at Metro State Prison for Women. Since then, Trina has gained much more experience with various populations and diagnoses at various hospitals and agencies throughout the years. Trina has been fully licensed to practice by the state of Georgia since 2005 and currently provides supervision to various professionals seeking full licensure. She has also been Certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.

Let’s talk about the hard truth about “making it out”.

When someone gets it out of the mud and becomes successful, there is often an expectation to give back. That belief is rooted in the Talented Tenth philosophy: those with access should uplift their communities. Reaching back is how we survive. That’s community code.

Still, let’s be honest. Reaching back doesn’t mean dragging everyone forward. Success earned through discipline and sacrifice does not automatically belong to everyone connected by proximity or familiarity.

There’s a strange rule placed on Black success that once you help, you’re expected to keep helping. Forever?

The Talented Tenth was never meant to bleed itself dry. Giving back should be rooted in intention, not obligation, especially when help has already been given, received, and used.

We can honor where we come from without being consumed by it. Black people deserve wealth without guilt.

Trina is a qualified and licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Trina received her B.A. in Psychology from Dillard University in New Orleans, LA and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, which was once known as the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. Trina completed a clinical practicum at Northside Hospital's Recovery Center and gained initial counseling experience at Metro State Prison for Women. Since then, Trina has gained much more experience with various populations and diagnoses at various hospitals and agencies throughout the years. Trina has been fully licensed to practice by the state of Georgia since 2005 and has provided supervision to various professionals seeking full licensure. She has also been Certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner. She has enjoyed teaching Psychology to working adults as Associate Faculty for the University of Phoenix as well as tutors high school students preparing for college entry. Trina has added mediation to her list of services rendered by becoming a GA Certified Mediator. All About You Counseling Services has hired interns, licensed eligible counselors, social workers, and licensed professionals to meet the needs of all clients since opening in 2010.
