March 24 was World Tuberculosis Day.

We honored the day with an educational program about the disease as well as recognized members of our team for their work. We capped off the festivities with a walk to the state capitol.

Step up to help end the Tuberculosis (TB) epidemic.

A total of 1.23 million people died from TB in 2024. TB is an infectious disease caused by bacteria that most often affects the lungs. TB is preventable but must be treated immediately at first signs.

Common signs include:
Prolonged cough (sometimes with blood)
Chest pain
Weakness
Fatigue
Weight loss

Get tested if you experience these symptoms and stay ahead of TB!
