🫧 If you need me I'll be in the treatment room explaining that the most important part of cleansing is rinsing off the cleanser.

To be fair to teenagers, it's even really hard for us as adults to keep our brains online all the time. But let this serve as a reminder... The actual activity of cleansing takes place when you fully remove the nasty mud that is made by emulsifying cleanser, water, and all the grime on your dirty little face.

I GOT YOU.

A lot of women think they have to choose between good sleep (progesterone) and good skin, or good energy (testosterone) and good skin, and quite simply, you don't.

It's true that some forms of HRT may necessitate more vigilance with topical skincare and treatments, but the massive silver lining is that investing in this will make your skin QUITE a bit healthier and more beautiful than if you did no HRT at all (and you'll be getting the brain and body benefits you and your prescriber agree are important for your long term quality of life).

BUT did you know that if you eat all the foods you love in mixed macronutrient meals you will be giving your body the best most measured delivery of energy and nutrients to avoid excessive energy spikes that can have a taxing effect on your skin?

Protein and fat in a meal moderate the absorption of carbs and spiking of insulin, so while carbs aren't inherently bad for your skin, you can help all carbs be slow carbs by eating complete meals.

Actually needing sunscreen every day is the face equivalent of actually needing to brush and floss every day if you want to keep your teeth.
