CANCELLING PLANS
People struggling with their mental health might come up with an excuse as to why they can’t hang out. They might agree to a plan and then cancel last minute or never show up

AVOIDING EYE CONTACT
Direct eye contact can be overwhelming for people with anxiety or those who have experienced trauma.
For those with anxiety, the idea of being social is overwhelming as is, but the feeling of being looked at can make things worse.

CHANGES IN BEHAVIOR
Self isolation, irritability, "flakiness", and changes in behavior can all be signs that someone is struggling.
