My name is Zenzélé Shakir, Owner of Mindful Innovations LTC. This project has been a dream until now. I've worked in acute/long term care facilities as a Medical Speech Language Pathologist since 2015. I am currently the Asst Director of the Rehabilitation Dept. I have an 18yr old daughter with Autism. Like many parents I have met, we know our children are no longer capable of being in the home. Yet we don't want to take them to a group home atmosphere. We would love to know our children will be cared for by individuals trained to work with neurological disorders. This dream is for her and all the adults managing neurological conditions.
