At Inner Balance Counseling, we believe that you have within you a deep inner wisdom. Our role is to to help you access that wisdom as you navigate through this complex journey of being human. Ultimately, you are the expert of your own life.
My name is Lauren Crawford Taylor, and I founded Inner Balance Counseling with the understanding that life’s difficulties are opportunities to grow and transform. As you will find from the moment you walk into my office, authenticity is at the core of my practice. I work with you in a manner that is empathic, nonjudgmental, direct, and honest.
Incorporating Eastern philosophy and mindfulness with contemporary psychology, we will create a nurturing space of safety and trust in which healing can unfold, so that you can find your inner balance. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples drawing from a variety of techniques to move beyond the symptoms of a person’s struggles in order to uncover the underlying causes of “stuckness” or suffering. My goal is to help you recognize your own healing capacities to transcend limiting beliefs and patterns.
We all have the freedom to find success, peace, love, self-confidence, and the joy of being alive. I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, and I know the importance of finding the right therapist when looking to embark on the journey of inner-work. Contact meto discuss your interest in counseling and find out if we might be good fit. You can also review the profile of my colleague at Inner Balance Counseling, Jessica Willhite, here.
