Emory EMS was proud to provide medical standby at the Atlanta Publix Marathon Weekend. Our crews supported runners and spectators across multiple events over both days to ensure a safe and fun event.

Emory EMS had an incredible weekend at the NCEMSF conference!
Our members participated in engaging workshops as well as discussions focused on strengthening leadership, advancing clinical excellence, and enhancing collegiate EMS operations. Connecting with agencies from across the country allowed us to exchange ideas, share best practices, and bring fresh perspectives back to our campus. Congratulations to our EMTs and AEMTs who gave speaker presentations and won awards.
We are thankful to the National Collegiate EMS Foundation team and everyone who made this event possible. We are excited to apply what we learned and continue building a stronger future for collegiate EMS.

Want to earn your Advanced EMT certification through one of Georgia’s only Combined EMT + AEMT programs? The Emory University EMS Education Program is now accepting applications for its two-semester combined EMT/AEMT course of study with integrated lecture, skills lab, and extensive field and clinical internship rotations. Graduates are prepared for national certification and eventual service with Emory EMS or EMS agencies across the country.

Emory EMS was honored to participate in Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s “Lights of Love” on Valentine’s Day, one of our favorite and heartwarming traditions of the year.
Standing outside with our trucks, we shined our flashlights toward patients as they shined theirs back through their windows, a meaningful reminder of the connection we share with our patients and overall community.

On Friday of NCEMSF week, Emory EMS and EMSaT came together for a joint event to bond and learn more about each other’s operations. We are always grateful for the camaraderie and chance to connect with another collegiate EMS team dedicated to serving their community. On Thursday, November 13th, Emory EMS hosted EEMSGiving, an early Thanksgiving-themed gathering filled with crafts, gratitude notes, and decorating our space together. As NCEMSF Week approaches the end, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on our gratitude for our volunteers, community, and incredible partners. Our volunteers, especially, are the heart of EEMS. They show up with dedication and compassion to serve our campus community each day. Special shout out to our Command Staff, Managers, Field Training Officers, TAs, CPR Instructors, and our partner agencies whose support strengthens everything we do. We are incredibly thankful. Our agency would not be the same without you all! 🍂🚑
