When a “blepharoplasty” is not a blepharoplasty….

Defining the right procedure for the right patient is part of my in-depth evaluation of the patient’s concerns and anatomy: the eyelids, brows, fat pads, facial shape, neck shape, skin quality, etc…

It always goes back to the anatomy and the aesthetic eye to see what needs to be done. This is art and medicine making patients look just like themselves but better, brighter and refreshed. It is a lovely thing! 🤌✨

Thank you .diego.arts for this outstanding weekend of learning, sharing and diving deep into the present and future of regenerative medicine with such amazing colleagues and thought leaders.

I have been using microfat and nanofat for about a decade and see daily the benefits it delivers to our patients.

The art of fat injections to highlight beauty and facial features is undeniable. It does require proper patient evaluation and proper technique, and that was the focus of my lectures.

There are so many nuances in facial aesthetics. I see over and over again that a trained eye and experience matters, gentle fat preparation matters and that the applications for microfat and nanofat use will only expand.

I learned so much more about real regenerative medicine, exosomes, secretomes and the application of real science to use it responsibly, and this is so exciting to me! Can’t wait to use all I learned to benefit our patients and integrate it in our protocols!

I am honored to be faculty of SDARTS this year - one of the leading meetings in the world on the regenerative use of fat and stem cells to improve outcomes in medicine and plastic surgery.

I’ll be lecturing on my current use of microfat in association with periorbital surgery and facelift surgery, and participating on a panel about non-surgical regenerative treatments we currently offer.

Several specialties are part of the conference such as plastic surgery, orthopedics, dermatology, sports medicine and more.
