2 𝐱 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 6-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲! 🌎🌎🥇🥇
I am so proud of this milestone, but this moment is truly 𝑏𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑡. My second 6-star journey began unexpectedly when started his own after being inspired by mine.

From the start, this race wasn’t about my individual finish. It was about us. Due to his tough training cycle/injury, I wanted to be right by his side for whenever he needed to lean on me for support so that we could finish together, earning our 6-star medals.

The Tokyo Marathon is a unique challenge with 9 strict checkpoints. I fought to keep him ahead of every cut-off, and Kelvin matched that effort with incredible heart and mental grit. He battled for every single step. At the 7th checkpoint, we made it with only 1 second to spare.

In that moment, we both knew. As the sweeper group passed us by, Kelvin had nothing left to give. He told me to go. It feels like a moment frozen in time. Pleading. Crying. Realizing this was where we had to part ways.

With the final cut-off looming and the sweepers out of sight, I knew I had to finish for both of us. After 6 hours on the course, I found a gear I didn’t know I had left. It was an emotional battle during those final solo miles, but I kept pushing and I crossed the line as a Double 6-Star Finisher.

I had imagined this moment so many times, where we crossed that finish line together. The reality looked different, but the mission stayed the same. I carried our journey through those final miles and I’m bringing this medal home for both of us. ❤️

🇯🇵 Marathon #21 and 🌎 World Marathon Major #15 loading! Tomorrow, I hit the streets of Tokyo to attempt to earn my 2nd 6-Star Medal🤩. This journey was absolutely incredible the first time around but the 2nd time has been even more special because and I have been blessed to experience this journey together from start lines to finish lines around the world. While we are chasing THE medal, tomorrow isn’t just about a medal, it’s about gratitude, growth, and getting to chase big dreams side by side. Sharing this journey has truly been the greatest victory of all. 🙏🏽

The countdown is officially on! We kicked off the morning with the + shakeout run around the Imperial Palace. It was great connecting with friends and the crew from Tokyo Drift x . It never ceases to amaze me how traveling the world can feel like home when you are surrounded by people sharing the same journey. Good luck to all those running the Tokyo Marathon and to those at home running the Publix Marathon/Half Marathon!

Kicked off Tokyo Marathon week at the expo! 🗼 Secured the bib, visited with my Sports Legacy Program charity partners, caught up with friends from around the world, and did an gear haul, of course.

Wrapped up the night at Seiko House Ginza with race director Yasuhiro Oshima, which was the perfect touch.

The miles have been run, so now, it’s all about the mental game. As the countdown to Sunday begins, I’m leaning into the 𝑆𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝑀𝑖𝑛𝑑, 𝑆𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝐵𝑜𝑑𝑦 headspace by centering my mind so my legs can follow. Tokyo, let’s do this! 🏯✨

History was made with grit in 1775 (and in 1985), long before carbon plates and super shoes.

On the 130th running of the Boston Marathon, the spirit of the 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 remains the same. If Samuel Adams could start a revolution without the tech, I’m definitely ready to carry that energy for 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boylston Street.

No excuses. Let’s put this 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐭 to the test and 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐛! 🍻💙🦄💛🍺

Looking back at these moments from Tokyo 2023, it’s wild to think how far the road has taken me since then. 🇯🇵

As many of you know, I’ll soon be headed back to Tokyo to cross that finish line and claim my 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐱 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥. This time around, I’m incredibly proud to be representing the 𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐲𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 1.

I’m not here to ask for donations, I’m here to share the cause. We often focus on our own finish lines, but the real victory is ensuring the path remains open for those who follow. 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈’𝐦 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞. ➡️

The Tokyo Marathon Foundation launched the Sports Legacy Program to use the platform of sport to pass on a legacy of a brighter future for Tokyo and Japan. Beyond the 26.2 miles, this program is dedicated to the “Dream of Sports”, focusing on youth development, enhancing inclusive environments for para-athletes, and preserving the culture of running for generations to come.

When I hit the pavement in a little over a week, I’m not just running for a star. I’m running for the legacy we build together. 🤝🏽

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 75,713,000 yen raised by the 2026 Sports Legacy Program runners to fuel these dreams. 👏🏽 🙌🏽

📢 I’m excited to announce that I’ve been selected to join the 2026 𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲! 🧠💙👟

ASICS’ philosophy of 𝑆𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝑀𝑖𝑛𝑑, 𝑆𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝐵𝑜𝑑𝑦 is more than a motto, it’s a belief I live by. Movement has always been my anchor, strengthening both my physical and mental health. Running is where those two worlds meet, and I’m proud to align with a brand that genuinely understands and champions that 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

I still can’t believe I get to work with a brand I genuinely love. 😱 I’m incredibly grateful and honored to join the SMSB team, and excited for the opportunity to help extend the reach of a message that matters.

Huge thank you to and for recognizing my passion for running and for the running community.

I’m looking forward to a phenomenal year with my new ASICS family and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all. ✨

Super Bowl Sunday reminds me of the highlight reels, but none of those happen without the unseen work.

The early mornings. The miles we fight for (and man have I been fighting for the miles lately 🥊 ). The repetition. The runs that no one applauds.

So before the game, I showed up for my own preparation. Finished the miles. Kept the promise I made to myself.

Different field. Same mindset. Miles first. Super Bowl later. 🏈🔥
