We're primarily wheel folks but experimentation and exploration in all realms keeps things fresh. We have a fondness for Raku because of the instant gratification, and larger pieces let us indulge the physicality of throwing pots, but it's all wonderful to us and we'll try anything twice. Pottery is precision and accident, science and art, all comfortably blended. Every piece we feature is unique
and handmade from Atlanta where we live as friends and neighbors. We've had the great privilege to work with and be influenced by many great clay artisans in Atlanta and Asheville, North Carolina. We also make a point of exploring the art and history of pottery whenever we travel. It's been an honor to observe and work with artisans in areas with great ancient ceramic traditions -- West Africa, Mexico, Viet Nam, Cambodia. In addition to the items in our e-gallery we also offer custom fabrication of unique functional and decorative items for your specific needs.
