Frazer Center

Frazer Center Fostering inclusive communities where people with and without disabilities gather, learn, & flourish.

Annually we serve over 250 children - one-third of whom have a developmental disability - between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years in our inclusive Child Development Program. We are one of only a few inclusive early education programs in metro-Atlanta and are unique in supporting both children and adults with disabilities in reaching their full potential.

🎨✨ Celebrating Black History Month through creativity, curiosity, and conversation.

This month, our classrooms and have been filled with meaningful art projects, vibrant bulletin boards, and hands-on activities honoring Black leaders, culture, and contributions that have shaped our world.

At Frazer Center, inclusion isn’t just something we teach—it’s something we live. 💛

We’re proud to create spaces where every child sees themselves reflected, valued, and celebrated.

As part of Black History Month, we're sharing children’s books we love and recommend.

In this edition of , Curriculum Coordinator Deidra Adams and Inclusion Specialist Ignacio Mendoza highlight:

• Chocolate Me!
• Follow Your Dreams, Little One
• BONUS REC: The ABCs of Black History

These books celebrate identity, resilience, achievement, and the richness of Black history—all in ways that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for young children.

We believe the stories children hear help shape how they see themselves and the world around them.

If this list is helpful, consider saving or sharing it with another family. 💛

“Different Like Me!” 📚 It's storytime! With Inclusion Coordinator Hannah Etchison, for Inclusive Early Learning Week, featuring a book from DECAL that reminds us our differences make our classrooms stronger.

When children see themselves reflected in stories—and learn to celebrate others—inclusion grows naturally. We see it every day at Frazer Center. It’s the heart of what we do. 💚

INCLUSION is our JAM! To kick off Inclusive Early Learning Week, our Inclusion Team and Senior Director of Child Development are sporting their favorite Inclusion tees:

"Inclusion Is My Jam"
"Inclusion Matters"
"Silly Goose, Inclusion Means Everyone Belongs"

At Frazer, "Inclusion" is not just a buzz word. It's the cornerstone of all that we do, every day.

Gather. Learn. Flourish.

At the Frazer Center, inclusion is key. Our Child Development Program provides early education for children with and without disabilities, and our Adult Program provides pre-vocational services and supported employment for adults with developmental disabilities.

We are nestled in a 39-acre old-growth forest that includes the historic Cator Woolford estate. The beautiful Cator Woolford Gardens is our social enterprise and provides a charming location for weddings, events, and film shoots.

Come check out this “hidden gem” that we call home!
