This upcoming mural on the Atlanta Beltline, near Freedom Park, is inspired by the concept of the freedom quilt, blending vibrant patterns of Ankara African fabric. The mural serves as a tribute to the enduring legacy of community, liberation, and collective history.

This project is a multi-generational collaboration, bringing together artists and activists Charmaine Minniefield (she/her) and her second-born, The Color Cienna (they/them). Together, they are creating a mural that stands as a powerful symbol of resilience, identity, and collective memory values that closely align with Panacea’s commitment to honoring individuality while fostering connection.
