I get it. We hear this a lot.
But have we ever really stopped to think and understand how this helps us?
Well, yes. This is how it helps:
๐ซถ๐พ Allowing ourselves to feel means acknowledging our emotions.
๐ซถ๐พ Only when we acknowledge and accept our emotions can we process them and actually understand where they are coming from.
๐ซถ๐พ Allowing ourselves to feel and express emotions releases emotional energy and reduces the impact of stress and tension when we suppress or deny our emotions.
When we allow ourselves to feel without judgment, we cultivate a deeper understanding of who we are.
When we know who we are, we befriend growth and nurture deeper and genuine connections.
