Mini vs full blepharoplasty!
A mini blepharoplasty removes a small amount of central upper eyelid skin without extending laterally. It’s often a good option for younger patients with genetic upper eyelid skin excess, where the concern is limited to the central lid and there is little to no lateral hooding. A full blepharoplasty extends laterally to address heavier skin and hooding when more correction is desired.

This 51 year old patient traveled from out of town to see Dr. Stong for the KalosLift mini extended deep plane facelift and upper blepharoplasty. The KalosLift includes a facelift and necklift with lateral and central platysmaplasty. Upper blepharoplasty is designed within the supratarsal crease, extending laterally to prevent hooding.
