Under eye hollowing, darkness, and bags are treated differently. Hollowing is often addressed with Restylane injections placed precisely to restore volume while reducing the risk of Tyndall effect. Darkness related to pigmentation may improve with medical grade chemical peels or bleaching agents such as hydroquinone. Prominent bags are best treated surgically with lower blepharoplasty and fat transposition to reposition fat for a smoother, more youthful under eye contour.
