REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with venipuncture blood drawing and/or fingerstick with CardioChek / Cholestech
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year and a minimum of 200 successful blood draws within the last 6 months
• Punctual, responsible and able to work with limited supervision
• Possess professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent oral communication and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a valid driver's license, registered transportation and car insurance
• Ability to pass a full background check and drug screen
• Flu shot nurses are responsible for the successful setup and break-down of a flu shot event in a corporate setting, as well as administering flu shots in a professional, safe, and timely manner. If nurses work alone, or in a supervisory capacity with a small team they are also responsible for receiving supplies, maintaining/monitoring vaccine temperature, and shipping supplies and completed paperwork back
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in a lab setting (i.e. LabCorp, Quest, etc.) or as a mobile examiner
• Previous experience at onsite wellness screenings
• Additional licenses, certifications and medical training
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Venipuncture/ Blood Draw Proficiency skills are a plus (Not required)
• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight and blood pressure
• Set up and break down portable blood draw station
• Potentially transporting supplies to and from health screening events (lifting 10-20 lbs.)
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
• Certification in Licensed Practical Nurse and/or MVR’s may be required
• OSHA-GEN, Office Safety Training and OSHA ICP Training
• Comply with all state and federal licensing, credentialing and educational requirements
