Looking to fill immediate position for CNA/PCA.

We are Visiting Nurse Private Home Care and offer a variety of shifts, multiple types of cases, mostly elderly care with great family work environment, benefits - qualification applies. We have availability in and outside of the Atlanta perimeter and would be happy to welcome anyone with a great sense of responsibility and efficiency in this field. Alzheimer's Awareness Month - Day 3

My dear friend, Anita Best Misel, shared this story with me a while back. I love it! While much of Alzheimer's is not fun, happy or funny, looking for those delightful moments, brings much needed joy to everyone in the Alzheimer's world.
"I called my mother one Monday to chat and at the end of our conversation, I reminded her that her sister from New York would be coming to Florida to visit her that weekend. 'My sister's coming? I'm so excited!!!' On Tuesday, I called her to check in and again reminded her of her sister's upcoming visit. 'Really? My sister is coming to see me? I am so excited!!' The next day, we had the same conversation. On Thursday, I called again and said, 'Tomorrow, your sister arrives. Aren't you thrilled?' My mother laughed and once again exclaimed, 'My sister is coming to see me?! What a wonderful Surprise!' Stunned, I said to her, 'Mom, I have told you this every day. Why are you so surprised?' My mother was quiet for just a moment and then shared, "the great thing about having Alzheimer's is you get to be excited anew every time you get good news! It is as if you are hearing it for the very first time. I love the joy of it!'
