Innercise Yoga

Innercise Yoga Innercise Yoga is the engagment of your body as a vessel to become in tune with your inner Self thro

Innercise Yoga is designed to balance the body, clear the mind, and activate awareness. In this expansive practice, the unconscious becomes conscious allowing the ego body to transcend to Universal Consciousness and ignite Divine knowledge. The intention of this practice is to cultivate this bliss in your daily journey. Biography: Kelsey Reed has always felt best when in tune with her body and mind. As a child, she found herself most in tune by participating in dance. Later, after a few failed high school attempts, she found her love for the practice of yoga in college when it helped her through her parents’ divorce, personal heartbreak, and family struggles with addiction. Since 2009, Kelsey Reed has been an avid yoga practitioner and health advocate. In 2012 she received her RYT-200 from Asheville Community Yoga Center, has since earned her E-RYT, with over 2500 hours of experience, and is level 1 certified in Trauma-Informed Yoga. Since being certified and earning her degree in Health & Wellness Promotion at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, Kelsey Reed has dedicated her life to sharing the practice of yoga to improve mental and physical health and to motivate growth in her community. To this day, Kelsey Reed continues to find ways to grow her practice and help more people. She traveled to India in 2015 to explore yoga at its origins, hosted a Yoga retreat in 2020 in Peru to practice in an energetically powerful environment, and has attended retreats and continuing education hours with notable yogis such as Rachel Brathen, Jenn Pastiloff, and Alanna Kaivalya. Kelsey Reed currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she grew up, and where her parents and sister live. When she isn’t practicing Yoga, Kelsey enjoys exploring the city and snuggling with her pet cat, Satori.

This impacted me.

We live in a world where everything real has a cheap imitation. We are sold shortcuts to happiness, shortcuts to connection, shortcuts to peace — but all of them leave us emptier than before. They promise comfort, but deliver dependency. They promise pleasure, but bring regret. They promise relief, but deepen the wounds we were trying to escape.

These artificial versions of life weaken our ability to experience the real thing:
Real intimacy, not pixels.
Real joy, not intoxication.
Real rest, not mindless scrolling.
Real nourishment, not engineered cravings.
Real purpose, not material show.
Real connection, not digital applause.

The more we rely on artificial comforts, the more disconnected we become from ourselves. We lose the ability to sit with our thoughts, feel our emotions, and face our reality. We trade long-term well-being for short-term dopamine hits.

Choose what is real.
Choose habits that build you, not numb you.
Choose experiences that strengthen your mind, your body, and your relationships.

Life becomes meaningful when you stop chasing artificial highs and start embracing genuine living.

There comes a quiet season in life
where you stop trying to impress everyone
and start trying to be at peace.

You stop rushing.
You stop forcing.
You stop explaining yourself to people who were never truly listening.

You learn that slow mornings are not laziness —
they’re healing.
And early evenings are not boredom —
they’re peace you spent decades earning.

Growing older isn’t about fading.
It’s about finally seeing clearly.

You start noticing the softness in things you used to overlook:

• the way sunlight warms the kitchen tiles
• the comfort of a familiar chair
• the peace of breathing slowly
• the joy of doing nothing but existing

You no longer need loud rooms or big circles.
A few real people — or even just your own company — is more than enough.

And somewhere between all the birthdays and all the heartbreaks,
you gain a quiet kind of wisdom:

The kind that isn’t loud,
isn’t showy,
isn’t trying to prove anything.

Just… lived.

You realize you’ve survived every single day you thought you couldn’t.
You’ve learned more from silence than applause.
You’ve grown softer, not weaker.
Kinder, not smaller.
Wiser, not tired.

And maybe — just maybe —
this is what beauty truly looks like:

A life that learned to bloom slowly.
A heart that stayed gentle in a sharp world.
A soul that finally understands its own worth.

Growing older isn’t a burden.
It’s a blessing hidden inside ordinary days.

A gift you only recognize once you’ve carried enough years
to understand what really matters.

This is a pretty good list! I agree with most of it.

After leading literally thousands of classes, these yoga teachers no longer teach or prepare in these common practices.
