On March 12th, what would have been Yuvi's birthday, our team decorated the cart and kept it out for an extra day to honor him. To the Tiwari familythank you for this gift. We are lucky to have it in our center.

Yuvi's Library lives at Emory Proton Therapy Center, a collection of books pediatric patients can pick out and keep, created in memory of Yuvi Tiwari by the Yuvaan Tiwari Foundation . A family that went through the hardest thing imaginable came back to make it a little easier for the kids who come after him.

On March 12th, what would have been Yuvi's birthday, our team decorated the cart and kept it out for an extra day to honor him. To the Tiwari family—thank you for this gift. We are lucky to have it in our center.

As the year comes to a close, we want to pause and say thank you.

Earlier this year, 5,000 patients trusted us with their care. That trust carries weight. It’s a responsibility we take seriously every day.

This moment is about gratitude. To our patients. To their families. To the clinicians and staff who make this work possible.

Not every award means something. But this one does.

Dr. Pretesh Patel and Dr. Sagar Patel were named 2025 Top Docs by Atlanta magazine. Chosen by their peers, people who know what great care really looks like behind the scenes.

It’s a quiet kind of excellence. No headline needed. Just decades of trust earned patient by patient, colleague by colleague.

Tomorrow’s treatments. Today’s comfort.

Today is National Therapy Animal Day, we’re celebrating the calm, connection, and healing presence these animals bring to patients and care teams alike.

At Emory Proton Therapy Center, we know that healing goes beyond the clinical. That’s why we champion compassionate care in every form—including visits from therapy animals.

Audrey Hendler from A Fair Shake for Youth shares how putting therapy pets to work helps improve patients' social, emotion and cognitive functioning.
