Georgia Tech Engineering World Health

Georgia Tech Engineering World Health At EWH, we have a mission to bring awareness and sustainable solutions to the global inequities in health care in the developing world. INTERESTED?

Awarded Burdell's Best "Best New Organization" (2006-2007). Every year, over $6.25 billion worth of medical equipment is discarded in the US. The mission of EWH-GT is to bring awareness and sustainable solutions to the global inequities in health care in the developing world. EWH organizes bi-weekly repair sessions at the MedShare warehouse in Atlanta. During the repair sessions, our members volunteer their time and engineering skills to test, calibrate and repair medical equipment donated by Atlanta hospitals. The restored medical equipment is then shipped to developing world hospitals. Please join us at our general meetings at the beginning of each semester OR just simply join us at one of our repair sessions! Dues are $20 a semester. You can pay at most events by cash or by Venmo -McAlear. If you have any questions, contact Winston Wu @ winstonwu@gatech.edu
