Dr. Barbour is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Barbour graduated magna cm laude from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1996 and completed his surgical internship and residency at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. During his training at the University of Miami, he trained under th
e guidance of orthopaedic surgeons for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins, which provided him with tremendous experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries. He then spent another year receiving additional specialized training in sports medicine as a fellow with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Sports Medicine Department in Palo Alto, California, where he worked with the San Jose Sharks Hockey Team, the Oakland Raiders Football Team, and the United States Rugby Team. Dr. Barbour is one of the few physicians in the nation performing arthroscopic hip surgery and biologic joint surgery for the relief of joint pain. He cares for several local high schools and has treated a number of professional, college, and amateur athletes. He is actively involved in several orthopaedic and healthcare organizations. He's authored several publications, including co-authoring a chapter in a leading textbook, has edited numerous articles and been a frequent lecturer on a variety of healthcare topics.

Anthony F. Human, D.O.
Dr. Anthony Human is a Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Spine Physician. He is board certified in Primary Care and competed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Human graduated from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences School of Medicine in 2002 and completed his internship and residency at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. During his training at the Cleveland Clinic, he trained under the guidance of the Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Medicine physicians for the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, which provided him tremendous experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports related injuries. He also spent time receiving additional specialized training in sports medicine working with Akron University and Kent State University sports teams, as well as being a Ring-side physician for King of the Cage Mixed Martial Arts.
Dr. Human is a former Division I collegiate wrestler, and competitive bodybuilder. Dr. Human’s primary focuses are injuries to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons and spine. Dr. Human specializes in non-surgical interventions for spine injuries, such as Epidural Steroid Injections, Facet joint injections and medial branch blocks, sacroiliac joint injections and radio frequency ablation. Dr. Human uses PRP (platelet rich plasma injections), as well as stem cells to promote soft tissue healing. Dr. Human has treated a number of professional, college and amateur athletes. He is actively involved in several sports medicine, spine and healthcare organizations.
