February Check-In 💚 A Little Love, A Little Stretching, A Little Life Update

Hi friends,

February tends to put a spotlight on love—but this month, I want to flip that inward for a second. Your body shows up for you every single day, through stress, long workdays, workouts, and everything life throws your way. This is your gentle reminder to show it some appreciation 💚

💪 Muscle of the Month: Hip Flexors
Tight hips are everywhere—from sitting, driving, workouts, stress, and even poor sleep positions. When your hips are tight, they often show up as:

Low back tension

Pinchy hips or groin discomfort

Quads that always feel tight

Difficulty relaxing during massage

Massage, stretching, and mindful movement can make a huge difference here.

🧠 Quick Tip You Can Use Today
If you sit a lot: stand up once every hour and take 5 slow breaths while gently squeezing your glutes. It helps “wake up” the muscles that protect your low back and hips and reduces that stiff, locked-up feeling later.

🤔 Massage Myth vs Fact
Myth: “If it doesn’t hurt, it’s not working.”
Fact: Effective massage doesn’t need to be painful. The nervous system relaxes and heals better when pressure is appropriate, intentional, and matched to your body’s needs.

🧘 Stretch of the Month: Half-Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch

One knee down, other foot forward

Gently tuck your pelvis and shift forward slightly

Hold for 30–45 seconds, breathing slowly

Repeat 2–3 times per side

Simple, effective, and great before bed.

💚 February Self-Care Challenge (Low Pressure)
Pick one of these to do consistently this month:

Drink one extra glass of water daily

Take 5 slow breaths before bed

Stretch for 2 minutes after work

Book something on your calendar just for you

Small habits add up.

Life lately has been full—busy schedules, growing pains (both personal and business), and lots of behind-the-scenes planning. Between work, kids, sports, and trying to remember where I set my coffee after reheating it for the third time, I’m leaning hard into balance and grace this season 😅

I’m so grateful for this community and for getting to do what I love every day. You all make the long days worth it.

Hey y’all! 💚

Just popping in with a little mid-January check-in because I know the start of the year can feel like a LOT — new routines, busy schedules, stress, and somehow we’re already halfway through January 😅

If you’ve been feeling tight, sore, or extra tense lately… you are not alone.

✨ Mid-Month Reset Tip

If you do nothing else today… unclench your jaw and drop your shoulders.
Most of us carry stress without even realizing it — especially in the neck, shoulders, and low back.

A quick reset you can try right now:
✅ Take a deep breath in through your nose
✅ Exhale slowww and let your shoulders melt down
✅ Roll them back 3 times
✅ Drink some water (yes I’m still going to say it 😂)

💪 Stretch of the Week (super simple)

Doorway Chest Stretch (30 seconds)
Stand in a doorway, place your forearms on the frame, and gently lean forward.
This helps with:
-rounded shoulders
-tight chest
-neck tension from phone/computer posture

🧠 Massage Myth vs Fact

Myth: “I have to be in pain to come get a massage.”
Fact: The BEST time to come is before you’re miserable.
Regular bodywork helps you stay ahead of tension so you’re not constantly playing catch-up.

Our latest news

Upcoming Massage Session Pricing Update

Dear Valued Clients,

I want to begin by saying thank you. 2025 was an incredible year, and I am truly grateful for your continued trust, loyalty, and support of my small business. Being part of your wellness and recovery journey means more to me than I can express.

As my practice continues to grow, the costs associated with running a high-quality, sustainable business have also increased. In order to continue providing the level of care, time, and attention you deserve, I will be implementing a small price adjustment for select session lengths.

Effective February 1, 2026, the updated pricing will be:

60-minute session: $100

90-minute session: $130

120-minute (2-hour) session: $185

✨ Youth sports massage pricing will remain unchanged.

Any appointments booked before February 1, 2026 will be honored at the price in effect at the time of booking, regardless of when the session occurs.

I also want to share that I will continue to charge based on time rather than modality, allowing each session to be fully customized to your body’s needs without added or hidden fees.

More than anything, I want to encourage you to keep prioritizing yourself. Whether you’re training hard, juggling work and family, recovering from injury, or simply navigating the stress of everyday life—taking time to care for your body and nervous system matters. Consistent bodywork isn’t a luxury; it’s an investment in your longevity, performance, and overall well-being.

I truly apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding. Your support allows me to continue investing in my education, tools, and the quality of care I provide so I can keep showing up for you at my best.

Thank you again for such an amazing year and for trusting me with your care. I am incredibly grateful for this community and look forward to continuing to support you in 2026 and beyond.
