Collaborate are is an evidence-based care approach that we see used in hospitals TODAY!

Medicine should not be siloed. Lack of communication is how things are missed and why care can take ages.

At Mère, we use a collaborative care approach to make sure patients are treated well and treated quickly.

No one warns you that toddler tantrums can dysregulate you, too.

If you’ve ever spaced out, gone emotionally numb, or felt like you “shut down” while your toddler is screaming *you might be dissociating*. And it’s more common than you think!

When your child is loud, unpredictable, and overwhelmed, your own nervous system can register the moment as a threat. Dissociation is your brain’s way of saying “This is too much right now.”

Here’s what can help in the moment:
🤍Plant both feet on the floor
🤍Lengthen your exhale
🤍Anchor into one thing you can see/hear/touch
🤍Say to yourself: My body is overwhelmed, not broken.

Have you been hit by a formula recall lately? Or maybe you’re switching formulas because your little one just isn’t thriving. No matter the reason, changing formula shakes a mama to her core.

It’s scary to feel so helpless while you ask yourself a hundred questions:

Will they tolerate it?
Will they sleep tonight or be up gassy and miserable?
Will there be a reaction?

I’ve been there. I switched formulas five times because of milk protein allergies, and every single time I was terrified.

You are not alone, mama. We see you, we get it, and we’re here to walk through these decisions with you. If you have questions, reach out.
