Richmont visited New Life Church in Canton, Georgia with Doctor of Ministry candidate Pastor Allan Malloy. Pastor Malloy has been pursuing his doctorate while also serving as Senior Pastor and doing mission work worldwide. He invited Richmont to share information about our counseling and ministry programs with the New Life congregation.

Richmont’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program has officially received CACREP reaffirmation through 2034.

During the review process, the CACREP site-visit team described Richmont’s evaluation as “setting the standard” for what a CACREP site visit should be. This recognition reflects the strength of our faculty, clinical training, academic rigor, and the incredible engagement of our students and alumni.

Richmont Graduate University is proud of our faculty member Dr. Kristel Headley for recently presenting for the Tennessee Counseling Association.

Dr. Headley led a 1 CE training on Cultural Humility and Broaching in Clinical Supervision During Unusual Times, equipping counseling professionals with tools to foster cultural responsiveness and growth in supervision.

We are grateful for the way our faculty continue to serve and strengthen the counseling profession beyond our campus.

It's nothing but big smiles and wagging tails on Richmont's Atlanta campus when Happy Tails Pet Therapy is visiting! Students, faculty, and staff were able to take a break from school and spend an afternoon with therapy dogs, enjoying the mental and physical health benefits that these furry friends provide.

Global Grub Club invites Atlanta faculty, staff, clinicians, and students to explore locally owned, culturally diverse restaurants together. It’s a chance to step off campus, experience new cultures, build community, and enjoy meaningful conversation over a shared meal.

Dr. Kathleen Bazile, Assistant Professor of Counseling and Director of Clinical Training, and Dr. Rochelle Mason, Marketing and Communications Director, recently represented Richmont at the Cobb Chamber Women’s Leadership event. The program featured executives and highlighted the meaningful impact of women in leadership across industries in our community, with insight on innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic growth.

Richmont students on the Chattanooga campus recently prepared to begin the internship phase of their education. Moving from the classroom into clinical settings and beginning to work directly with clients is a significant milestone, and we are excited to support our interns alongside their internship site supervisors through this journey.

We are thankful for the internship sites and community partners who participated and continue to collaborate with Richmont as we work to strengthen the counseling community.

Attendees gathered to discuss topics like navigating dating in the digital age, the importance of community and non-romantic connection, and trusting God through the process. While completing her Doctor of Ministry at Richmont, Betsy Mejias balanced life as a wife and mom, grew her counseling practice at Abundant Life Counseling Center of Georgia, and served her community through active chamber involvement.
