Being a clinical licensure supervisor is such a privilege. Occasionally one of my former supervisee’s will surprise me with a thank you. This week I had just one of those experiences. It’s nice being appreciated. My cup is full. No, thank you!

Colleagues, I just scheduled 2 consultation appointments. One person happened to have learned about me from a YouTube. Apparently her professor played it in their class “Advanced Therapeutic Concepts” class. A video where I was giving some comparative discussion either on ethics or professional identity.

I haven’t shared a video in years so it was a pleasant surprise.

I also provide licensure consultation for LPC applicants in Georgia; practice consultation and of course clinical consultation are also in my wheelhouse.

I’m so proud to be represented by this incredible advocate! She was diagnosed at 33. While I was diagnosed at 44. Still we both fall in the fateful category of too young, too early; too soon; and too unexpected to be diagnosed with a yet to be cured Lung Cancer. Way to go Doc!
