ABOUT DR. DZIFA KPODZO
A native of Ghana, West Africa, I also grew up in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada, before moving to the United States during high school. After graduating with honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Integrative Biology, I completed a dual medical doctorate and master in public health at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. I completed my residency training at the Harvard Plastic Surgery Combined Residency Program and went on to a fellowship in oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta. As an Associate Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine, I am dedicated to educating medical students and residents in the principles of plastic surgery. I have also traveled internationally and shared my skills internationally providing care in Ethiopia with Operation Smile, as well as spending time in my homeland Ghana. My philosophy is to make the patient experience warm and comfortable. I place a high value in caring for the "whole" patient; to that end I feel it is important to be attentive to each patient's unique needs and individual goals. I believe in providing aesthetically pleasing, natural and long-lasting results while keeping patient safety as my highest priority.
