One of the biggest misconceptions in healthcare is that more visits equal better care.

In reality, better care comes from access, continuity, and trust.

When families know their pediatrician, when questions are answered before they become emergencies, and when prevention is prioritized, outcomes improve for children and parents.

This belief is at the heart of how I practice medicine. It’s also why I’m deeply committed to a care model that give families time, access, and peace of mind—not just a slot on a schedule.

Healthcare isn’t just about treating illness.
It’s about what happens long before and long after the visit ends.

I built my pediatric practice on a simple belief—that children deserve care that is unhurried, thoughtful, and rooted in trust.

At Ivy Pediatrics, families aren’t navigating long waits, rushed visits, or unanswered questions. They have direct access, continuity of care, and the reassurance that their child is truly known—not just charted.

I’ve seen how much changes when parents feel supported and children are cared for in an environment built around prevention rather than reaction.

This is the kind of healthcare I believe in—and the kind of care every family deserves.

It’s a privilege to care for families this way.

At 2:17 a.m., no one is thinking about well-child schedules.

You’re listening to your baby breathe.
You’re replaying the way they cried differently tonight.

And the scariest part?

You don’t know if this is normal or the moment you were supposed to notice something.

Most parents aren’t always looking for more information. They are looking for someone who will take their fear seriously.

At Ivy Pediatrics, I built my practice around the moments that don’t fit into 15-minute visits.
The moments when you whisper,
“I don’t want to be dramatic, but…”

Because you deserve a pediatrician who understands that new parents don’t need to be tougher they need to be supported.

If you have a baby or you’re preparing to welcome a baby, I want you to know this:

You will never be told you’re overreacting here. You will never have to figure out the beginning alone. I am here to support you every step of the way.

Nobody prepares you for how loud your thoughts get after the baby arrives.

Is this cry normal?
Should I wake them?
Is this spit-up too much?
Am I missing something?

At Ivy Pediatrics, I don’t start care when things are calm. I start when you’re scared to be wrong.

Because you should never have to figure out the beginning alone. 🌿

‼️ Flu Season is Here‼️

As parents, it’s vital to understand the differences between the flu and a common cold—especially during this peak season. Both illnesses can affect our little ones, but knowing how to identify them can make all the difference in keeping them healthy and comfortable.

🤒 What You Should Know:
- The Flu: This respiratory illness caused by the influenza virus can hit suddenly and lead to severe symptoms such as high fever, chills, body aches, and fatigue. It can also result in complications, particularly in young children.
- Common Cold: Generally milder, colds develop more gradually and are often characterized by a runny nose, sneezing, and a sore throat. They’re annoying but typically resolve quickly.

📝 Tips for Parents:
- Encourage your kids to wash their hands frequently 🧼
- Teach them to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing 🤧
- Monitor their health and consult a pediatrician if you suspect flu symptoms.

Together, we can keep our children safe and healthy during flu season. Stay informed, take preventive measures, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! 💙
