Shakeera Springs, MBA, graduating with a Bachelors and Masters Degree specializing in Accounting from Brenau University landed her in the corporate world. There she learned valuable lessons on how to run a corporation successfully with respect to each department. She worked her way up the corporate ladder for years but it had become very challenging with a demanding family. Outside of her accounting firm, she wanted to follow her passion and further the lifestyle blog into a sustainable business. Keera is currently writing her dissertation, pursuing a PhD in Marketing. She grew up in a small town in Georgia where her mother and great grandmother showed her the way. She was taught at a young age how to clean and grow her own vegetables and prune trees that produced fruit. She caught fish, cleaned and cooked to likeness. She was also taught how to grow herbs and plants that would prevent and treat disease. As a little girl, she knew if she got cut or scraped, it would easily heal by grabbing the Aloe Vera plant out of the window sill and quickly applying without parental guidance. Nature had become her best friend after loosing her parents at an early age.
