Mrs. Leslie W**d, founder of Heal,
recently appeared on the Angels and Demons Podcast to continue her mission of helping autistic children achieve a better quality of life. During the conversation, she spoke openly about the many challenges autism can bring—not only for children, but for their families as well—while emphasizing the importance of support, understanding, and access to effective care.
Her journey has been shaped by the support of several well-known figures. She shared that Arnold Palmer, known as “The King,” personally provided transportation on his private jet, helping pave the way for her advocacy work on behalf of autistic children. She also noted that Kennedy Jr. lent a hand in more personal ways, even helping Mrs. Leslie W**d with hands-on efforts along the way—symbolizing the kind of grassroots support that has fueled her mission.
Throughout her work, she has connected with doctors and advocates, including public figures like Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, to raise awareness around child health and developmental concerns. She also discussed the increase in vaccines over time and expressed concerns about the influence of pharmaceutical companies in shaping healthcare decisions in America.
A key part of her message focused on certain chemical exposures, such as formaldehyde and aluminum, and their potential effects on the body at high levels. Scientific evidence shows that high-dose exposure to formaldehyde can cause serious respiratory issues, neurological problems, and has been linked to cancer. Similarly, excessive aluminum exposure can affect the nervous system and kidneys, potentially contributing to memory loss and bone-related conditions. Both substances, when present in high amounts, do contribute to oxidative stress, inflammation, and cellular damage.
Ultimately, her goal is to encourage awareness, informed decision-making, and ongoing conversations about children’s health and well-being.
Do not stop practicing critical thinking—let this story and podcast serve as a reminder of the power of persistence, advocacy, and hard work.
